Sainte-Maxime has one privilege Saint-Tropez will never have: the view of Saint-Tropez. From La Nartelle beach or the Simon-Lorière promenade, the ochre bell tower stands out across the bay — and at the end of the day, the sun sets behind it, exactly on axis. It is the only town in the Gulf where the golden light and the legendary backdrop face the same direction.
It is also the most family-friendly town in the Gulf: the long, gently sloping beach, the carousel on the promenade, the covered market, the ice-cream parlours. The families who contact me from Sainte-Maxime stay at La Nartelle, the Sémaphore, near La Croisette or in the town centre — often three generations together for a week or two, scattered the rest of the year.

The family session, from the villa to La Nartelle.
My favourite moment here comes at the end of the day, on the sand of La Nartelle. The grandparents lay out the towels, the children are already running towards the water, and across the bay, Saint-Tropez slowly lights up in the backlight. The sun is behind me — which means on you. No one squints, no one poses: the family lives, and the light does the rest.
The session can start earlier at your villa or rental — terrace, garden, pool — then move down to the beach or the promenade. Four people or twenty across three generations: I build the combinations one by one, from the full group down to each parent with each of their children. Héritage Familial (€890, up to twelve people, 40 photos) is the most chosen package here; larger tribes move to Constellation Premium (€1,290, sixteen people) or Signature (€1,690, twenty people, 80 photos, a second set-up for everyone). And once the gallery opens, many families give in: 30, 50, sometimes 70 additional photographs ordered afterwards, with the result in front of their eyes.
When the stay deserves more than one session

In Sainte-Maxime, the event I cover most is the long table: fifteen or twenty people around a birthday dinner on the terrace of a La Nartelle villa, the bay darkening behind the guests, the lights of Saint-Tropez switching on one by one during the main course. The speeches begin, someone cries before dessert, the children left the table long ago.
On a night like that, one hour of photography would not be enough. I work as dedicated event coverage — an evening from €1,490, a full day from €4,500, several days by quote — and I photograph what cannot be replayed, without forced poses, in the light of the moment. Two or three days after the session, you receive a link: your private gallery, every photo in colour and in black and white. That is often when the session takes on its full meaning — you relive the moment, choose together, discover images you never saw being made. You select, your HD files arrive within 24 hours, premium prints follow within 5 to 7 business days, shipped worldwide — to several addresses if needed. From your gallery, additional photos and prints remain available at preferential rates, up to large formats — canvas up to 90×150 cm, aluminium and plexiglass up to 50×75 cm.
