Everyone knows the midday Saint-Tropez — the packed harbour, the full terraces, the crowd on the quay. That Saint-Tropez does not make beautiful family photographs. The one I photograph is elsewhere: La Ponche at seven in the morning, when the old town still belongs to the fishermen. The ochre streets before the boutiques open. Les Graniers beach, Les Salins, the coastal path towards the Citadel. And the villa terraces — including inside the secure private estates such as Les Parcs de Saint-Tropez, where I work regularly by referral.
The families who contact me from Saint-Tropez look alike: a villa or an apartment for one or two weeks, three generations scattered the rest of the year, together for one stay. Everything is arranged online and by phone before you arrive, in English or French. On the day, you have nothing to manage — I know the hours when each place is yours.

Quarter past seven, Place de la Ponche. The first café has not opened, the fishing nets are still drying against the wall, and your family crosses a deserted square that millions of visitors will never see this way. It is my favourite session here: an hour stolen from the crowds, in the ochre streets, before climbing towards the Citadel or joining your villa — including inside the secure private estates such as Les Parcs de Saint-Tropez, where I work regularly by referral.
Four people or twenty across three generations, I build the combinations one by one: the full group, each family, each couple, each set of siblings, each parent with each of their children. Larger families usually choose Héritage Familial (€890, up to twelve people, 40 photos) or the Constellations — Premium (€1,290, up to sixteen) and Signature (€1,690, up to twenty, 80 photos, a second set-up for everyone). First packages at €390, fully bespoke from €2,290 beyond twenty.
And in the gallery, a few days later, many families keep going: 30, 50, sometimes 70 additional photographs ordered once the result is in front of their eyes.
When the stay deserves more than one session
The day at sea, from Les Canoubiers to the evening table.
The boat leaves the bay of Les Canoubiers late in the morning. The children settle at the bow, the grandfather negotiates the helm with the captain, and during the anchorage facing the beaches, the whole family is in the water at the same time — the kind of image that cannot be posed. In the evening, the same family gathers around a private dinner facing the harbour, and the day becomes a complete story, from the first dive to the last speech.
For days like these, I work as dedicated coverage: an evening from €1,490, a full day from €4,500, several days by quote — at sea, at the villa, at the restaurant. It usually starts with a message sent from London, Brussels or Geneva, weeks before the stay. I call you back within 24 hours, often within 2, and in one call we settle the essentials: the place, the hour according to the light, the family configuration. A 50% deposit via secure payment link confirms the date and unlocks my preparation guide; the balance is settled on the day, in cash or by card. I arrive 15 to 20 minutes early to meet you and scout the light, outside your session time.
After the session: private gallery within 48 to 72 hours, every photo in colour and in black and white. You select, your HD files arrive within 24 hours, premium prints follow within 5 to 7 business days, shipped worldwide — to several addresses if the family flies home to five countries. Additional photos and prints at preferential rates from your gallery, up to large formats — canvas up to 90×150 cm, aluminium and plexiglass up to 50×75 cm. And if it rains, we simply move to the next day.
